A mechanical engineer by trade, Darren quickly realized that his W-2 job and 401K would not support the current and retirement lifestyle that he wanted. After being convinced by a friend he attended one of the guru seminars, locally in Knoxville. Darren started purchasing single family rentals and doing flips 4 months after attending the seminar. In April of 2017 he was laid off from his corporate job of 12 years. At that moment Darren went all in to real estate investing by cashing in his 401K and stock options.
