As we examine Matthew 2 and encounter an evil king and visiting kings, we ultimately see the King of Kings.

From the prophecy in Isaiah 9 through the witness of scripture we examine the Gift of God this final Sunday of Advent.

As we pick up with Joseph awaking from His dream, we see that the Lord is faithful to his word, and how the coming of Jesus is the fulfilling of the Old Testament.

As we consider the question, "Where did this baby come from?" and consider the doctrine of the virgin birth, we find the answers first to Joseph in this passage and see how we may trust God.

As we examine the genealogy of Jesus we see the magnificent of a God who keeps His promises, is full of grace and we can trust.

In a brief journey through portions of the second letter to the Corinthians we see how we ought to pray, give, and go with missions and a Sovereign God in view.

As we hear from the prologue of the book of Job we find: We can and should give thanks to God for good circumstances but true worship is unrelenting trust of God in any and all circumstances.

From the prologue of the book of Hebrews we find the depth of the Person of Christ in a time of need.

After Peter's declaration of Jesus as the Christ, Jesus responds by further teaching of the gospel and the the implications for his followers.

As we reach the climax of Mark's gospel we find Jesus healing the sight of the blind - both physically and spiritually. Here we find Peter's Confession, "You are the Christ."

As we see Jesus miraculously feed a multitude, encounter the Pharisees and hear his teaching the disciples in the boat we learn that we must put our absolute faith in Jesus and his word.

As we conclude Mark chapter 7, we see the restoration of the hearing of a deaf man and contemplate the implications for our own restoration by the Creator.

In this passage where Jesus journeys in to gentile territory, we find a woman of great faith who is concerned about her daughter.

As we see Jesus walking to the disciples on the water, we find ourselves asking if we are trusting Him for Who He is, or if we are just "treading water."

As we move through Mark 6 towards the feeding of the multitudes we discover that true faith is being fully satisfied in Jesus Himself.

As Jesus comes to his hometown of Nazareth and is rejected we learn serious implications about our faith and who Jesus is.

As we finish Mark chapter 5, we find in two real examples that in waiting for Jesus we both lose more than we were expecting to lose and gain more than we expected to gain. Also we see that true faith is a self-risking trust in Jesus alone.

As we celebrate our 127th homecoming, we take time to examine what the New Testament has to say about what the church is and should be.

As Jesus approaches the otherside of Galilee, He rolls back the forces of hell and makes way for the good news.

As we examine the narrative of Jesus calming the storm we examine our fears, finding that that there is a fear that ultimately leads to faith.
