In this episode Rick's mom comes for a visit. And they discover she's broke. And she refuses to take money from Edward. So Rick asks Edward to give her a job and let her stay with them. Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast. Today, I covered S4E2: Mrs. Stratton Builds Her Dreamhouse, which aired on September 22, 1985. In this episode Edward allows Kate to redecorate the house, which becomes chaotic for him and Rick. After Edward gives Kate permission to add her own personal touch to the house to make it feel more like her home, she goes overboard causing a communication breakdown between father and son who are still adjusting to the fact that a woman now resides there and it's no longer a bachelor pad. It's the last straw for Edward when the construction workers and interior decorator go to remove his train that has been and will continue to be a Silver Spoons Staple for the run of the show. He puts his foot down and tells Kate enough is enough. Some little changes here and there, a powder room for her fine, but she was doing a complete overhaul which caused the roof to leak in Rick's room right over his head

In this episode Danny becomes the co-host of the new talk show Wake Up, San Francisco with Rebecca Donaldson who Jesse becomes smitten with after he’s introduced. DJ throws Kimmy a surprise birthday party that quickly goes south after a couple of older girls are invited with the intention of turning the party into an all out rager. DJ takes a stand only to have Kimmy abandon her and walk out on her own party. We meet Mr. Bear in this episode too. And get our first Connie Chung reference, one of a few throughout the show’s run. Happy 2020 Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of the brand new coming Spring 2020 Monthly Podcast, Diff'rent Strokes To Move The World: An Unofficial Diff'rent Strokes Podcast. In this episode, I give history lesson on the show courtesy of the Internet, regarding the show, the characters, storylines and of course my history with the show. I came to the show in early 2019 through the DVD Season Sets and worked my way through the episodes. This show really helped me last year as I dealt with the death of my father early on in 2019. The show along with the characters became a comfort to me as I watched the kids, Arnold, Willis and Kimberly grow and mature and develop as they faced one challenge after another over the course of 8 Seasons. I've been wanting to do a podcast on this show for a bit, of course as you regular listeners know, I have a pretty full podcast plate as it is at the moment, so for the time being will begin in Spring of 2020 so around April focusing on select episodes instead of episode

To ring in the new year, I decided to cover Full House S4E13 Happy New Year, which aired on December 28, 1990. In this episode Jesse and Danny secretly record him for a dating service. Which leads to him inviting who he thinks is the girl of his dreams over for dinner and babysitting and ringing in the new year and maybe something else. Pump those breaks, Joey! Rusty, son of Cindy, ever the tormentor is enjoying teasing (I'd actually refer to it as sexual harassment) Stephanie about kissing her on New Years Eve from using chapstick to spraying banacka a breath freshener in his mouth. Granted he was just messing with her but boy oh boy does she get him back in a real way and it just proves what a scared little boy he really is when he goes running to mommy. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Looking Back On My Wonder Years: A Wonder Years Podcast. Here's a gift from me to you, an episode of a TV Show I've never covered for the podcast before but am very fond of. Boy Meets World S1E10: Santa's Little Helper, which aired on December 10, 1993. In this episode Shawn's dad gets laid off right around Christmas, so Cory vows to get Shawn a present for Christmas this year. Santa Claus has a heart attack when Morgan sits on his lap, traumatizing her. I really liked this episode. It was funny and sweet and tugged at my heartstrings. It truly reminded me what it was like to be a kid in the 90's since I was the boys's age Cory and Shawn. Minkus got on my ever loving nerve this episode with his constant chant to Shawn "Do you have the $5 you owe? to the point that I was hoping Shawn was going to punt him into the lunch room wall. Feeny of course teaches Cory a valuable lesson outside of the classroom as well since they're fence

Today, I give to you the last episode in the Tis The Season Series, Fuller House S4E1: Oh My Santa, which aired on December 14, 2018. In this episode, when Max gets a case of the bah-humbugs -- and Tommy has a meltdown at the mall -- DJ does everything she can to get them back in the Christmas spirit. This was such a sweet and endearing episode that many people who have lost a loved one (as I have this year) can relate to what Max is going through. I loved Stephanie's overprotectiveness of Kimmy who is currently carrying Stephanie's baby via surrogate. That is real friendship there. Stephanie even calls Kimmy her friend and we all awww! Kimmy's super sonic sensitive hearing picks up a phone conversation of Tommy Sr (DJ's husband who passed away)from a home movie the family is watching and surprises the Fuller Fam with a sweet and heartwarming surprise.

Happy Holidays Everyone, Angela Bowen here, to give you another holiday treat with the 1964 Stop Motion Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer. I always thought this was a cute little movie with memorable songs with Rudolph and Hermie who go from being unwanted misfits to the ones who end up saving Christmas for everyone including the Island of Misfit Toys. In this movie, Sam the snowman tells us the story of a young red-nosed reindeer who, after being ousted from the reindeer games because of his beaming honker, teams up with Hermey, an elf who wants to be a dentist, and Yukon Cornelius, the prospector. They run into the Abominable Snowman and find a whole island of misfit toys. Rudolph vows to see if he can get Santa to help the toys, and he goes back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. But Santa's sleigh is fogged in. But when Santa looks over Rudolph, he gets a very bright idea. Today, I decided to cover one of my all time favorite Disney animated movies Lady and the Tramp (1955). I figured Christmas time is good of time as ever to cover it because the movie is bookended by Christmas as in it starts at Christmas and ends at Christmas. I have always loved this movie as a child and I'd say even more so now as an adult I can appreciate it now for the beautiful animation and the wonderful story telling. During this review I discuss odd pregnancy cravings and find out the right time a dog is supposed to be licensed (Disney got it right, about 4-6 months of age)as well share a clip of a man surprising his wife with a puppy. She bursts into tears which is pretty common place with these videos at least when it comes to the adults and some kids too. But Darling kept her composure, which is probably how it was back then, no screaming and no crying, just a polite thank you. I also add
