Today, as another holiday treat for you, here is my review of 1983's Mickey's Christmas Carol Synopsis: Based on the Charles Dickens novel, only with a Disney twist. In dreary London, on Christmas Eve, miserly Scrooge goes to work in his counting house, where also resides his only employee, Bob Cratchit. Through the course of the cold workday, Scrooge is visited by several people. The first is his nephew Fred, bring joyous tidings of the season, which warms Cratchit's heart, but infuriates Scrooge. Fred has come to invite Scrooge for Christmas dinner, but Scrooge declines. The next visitors are two gentlemen collecting funds to help the poor. Scrooge verily turns them away without any generosity. As the day ends, Scrooge allows Cratchit's wish to have half of Christmas day off, but demands that he be on time the day after. After closing the counting house, Scrooge heads to his own home. At the fr

In the spirit of giving this holiday season, here is my review of Full House S612: A Very Tanner Christmas, which aired on December 15, 1992. In this episode: Danny misses Vicki DJ misses Steve Becky misses Snowy Christmas in Nebraska Steph and Michelle are missing more presents Each family member gets a pleasant surprise in the form of loving, giving and receiving. Also I do a deep dive into Spuds McKenzie via my internet search including his or should I say her gender, her time as an alcoholic beverage spokesanimal of the 80’s and 90’s as well as her real name, it’s a long one. Let me just say I had a mini Spuds stuffed dog complete with Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses when I was 7 and not once did it tempt me to pick up a Bud Light. Also I’d like to publicly correct myself over Grumpy Cat’s (R.I.P 2019) real name who I guessed was tuna fish it’s actually tarter sauce.

In this episode it's Christmas time, but Alfonso is sad to learn he won't be spending the holidays with his mother, and Freddy and his family are homeless. This started out to be a bummer of a Christmas for everyone even at one point for the Stratton fam, but in the end they all settled in and delighted with Alfonso singing what sounded like an original Christmas song and enjoyed the togetherness of family and friends. The show's first Christmas episode has the Tanner Family including Joey along with Jesse's parents taking to the skies for a Tanner Family Reunion per Danny's request in Colorado on Christmas Eve. Surprise to all, Rebecca Donaldson (Danny's co-host of Wake-Up San Francisco and Jesse's love interest) is along for the flight only to be changing planes in Denver to spend time with her family in Nebraska. We also meet a grumpy airline passenger whose alter ego reveal later is a surprise to us all. This man might seem familiar if you watched the 70's and 80's hit show Dukes Of Hazzard. In this episode It's the first Thanksgiving without Pam and her entire family feels the effect of their loss. D. J. takes over Thanksgiving dinner, but when things fall apart - both the dinner and emotions - the boys help the girls and each other through it. I loved this episode. For anyone who has lost a loved one let me tell you the first major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas can be really rough. I know it will be for me especially this Christmas not having my Dad here. If I could I would give John Stamos an award for his acting when he breaks down in front of Danny and reveals how much he's hurting at the loss of his sister Pam. Today I covered another holiday episode of Season 3, S3E7: and S3E8: Village Of The Darned Parts 1 and 2. PART 1 In this episode S3E7: Village Of The Darned Part 1, which aired on November 11, 1984. Ricky and Alfonso are disappointed when they're unable to go a Thanksgiving party, as Edward, Kate and Dexter have decided to take them on a surprise trip to the Caribbean island of St Agnes in the company plane, which Kate is piloting. PART 2 S3E8: Village Of The Darned Part 2, which aired on November 18, 1984. In this episode The Strattons make an emergency landing on a Caribbean island where they have Thanksgiving dinner. Overall, I really enjoyed this episode, the action, suspense kept me on the edge in scenes and the laughter helped ease the seriousness of their dire situation of being stranded. I decided for this Halloween of 2019 to cover one of my favorite Halloween movies Casper from 1995, starring Bill Pullman, Christina Ricci, Devon Sawa, Eric Idle, Cathy Moriarty, Garette Ratliff Henson (he played Guy Germanine in the Mighty Ducks Movies which I will be covering in the new year. Jessica Wesson (who you might remember from Home Improvement as eldest son Brad Taylor's longtime girlfriend also love interest to Elijah Wood in Flipper). In this movie an afterlife therapist and his daughter meet a friendly young ghost when they move into a crumbling mansion in order to rid the premises of wicked spirits. Today I covered a Halloween Episode of Full House: S3E8: Divorce Court, which aired on November 17, 1989. In this episode DJ and Stephanie divorce each other basically sleep in separate rooms, due to an ongoing argument of the elementary school Halloween carnival that DJ promised Stephanie she'd go to, while DJ now in junior high would rather go to her friend Kathy Santoni's Halloween party. The guys step in and help the girls get their sisterhood back on track leading DJ to compromise with Steph allowing dher to do both the Halloween Carnival and later her friend's party. Today I decided to cover Fuller House S1E5: Mad Max, which aired on December 9, 2016 in honor of Elias Harger's (Max Fuller) Birthday today. In this episode when an old friend whisks her away for a concert and after-hours fun, Stephanie realizes just how much her nephews mean to her. Kimmy finds D.J. a date. Max has pre-stage fright about his upcoming musical recital until Stephanie loans her "magic" scarf to him giving him a confidence boost, granted all that bravado goes out the window after Stephanie leaves taking the scarf with her. Stephanie wanting to make things right over the phone has Max play for Coachella's audience thus restoring his confidence. Meanwhile Kimmy's been on a man hunt as she peruses the dating sites to get DJ back in the dating scene. Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast. Today, I covered a spooky Halloween themed episode for the month of October from Season 3. It's S3E5: It Was A Dark And Stormy Night, which aired on October 28, 1984. In this episode after the power goes out, it's a dark and stormy night as Edward encourages Rick and his friends to tell a pass-the-ghost story to help them get over the fact they can't watch their monster movie marathon on TV. This was a cute episode that had the trio Rick, Alfonso and Freddy dressed as boys from the early 19th century complete with blazers and newsboy caps. The Stratton mansion was decked out in eerie decor with cobwebs, sheets on furniture, fog and a spooky green lighting effect all for purposes of this ghost story that takes up the length of the episode. Today, I covered the final episode in the Full House Back To School Series with Full House S8E2:Breaking Away, which aired on October 4, 1994. In this episode it’s all about letting go and sadly Jesse isn’t ready when his and Becky’s twin boys Nicky and Alex start preschool. While Becky starts out the inconsolable one, Jesse remains the strong one or so she thinks, but as soon as the boys enter preschool they’re off like a shot, leaving Jesse in the dust minus a goodbye kiss, as the boys are all about their independence once they cross the threshold into the classroom, they separate easily from each other and Jesse excited to try all the fun activities that preschool has to offer, like trains and puzzles, not even stopping to look back or give a kiss goodbye to their Dad. Today as part of the Full House Back To School Series I covered S7E5: Fast Friends, which aired on October 12, 1993. In this episode Stephanie meets new friends, but soon feels pressured to smoke. Jesse and Joey host a radio show called Teen Talk; or is it Yakkin' With Youth? Also in this episode we meet two new characters Mickey and Gia. Mickey is a character that takes Stephanie under her wing when it comes to how to operate the hand dryer in the decrepit school bathroom as well as how to apply lip liner. Sadly, Mickey only has a two episode arc and then we never see her again. Gia on the other hand is here to stay, she comes off pushy and abbrasive when it comes to peer pressure, practically forcing a cigarette in to Stephanie's mouth. Today in honor of Scott Weinger's (Steve Hale) birthday today I've decided to cover Full House S7E2: The Apartment, which aired on September 21, 1993. In this episode Steve gets an apartment and D.J goes for a visit. She falls asleep on the couch and Danny gets angry when she doesn't come home on time. He goes to the building and looks through the window. Also in this episode, Joey's tranquility tapes do more harm than good, like put him in a life or death situation he is not aware of and may never be, when that cement truck chute comes down breaking glass that rains down into the kitchen, surprisingly close to him that I'm surprised that chute didn't take him out as it came down and he doesn't even feel his feet being covered in wet cement.
