Also Betty going on the gameshow and her other two contestants one a astrologer whos not all there mentally and a woman whos so desperate she'll take any man as long as he's breathing and she gets into it with Betty and causes a fight with her. It was an all out brawl as the host of Dream Date Johnny Prince tries to break it up. In this episode Punky and Henry campaign to turn an empty field into a city park, but Henry's fear of public speaking gets the best of him. In this episode I talk about my fear of public speaking in school and the common troupe of the trick to overcome it “picturing everyone in their underwear”. Punky makes a joke about President Carter which sounds weird coming out of an 11 year olds mouth. I mean, yeah, I made jokes about President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski, but who didn’t in 2000. Henry makes a joke about buying rubber underwear. Ya know, because he’s an elderly man who is suffering with incontinence issues. TMI, Henry. Happy Easter/Happy April Fool's Day Punky Peeps, No Joke Punky Peeps, So ring in both Easter and April Fools Day with S3E9: Best Friends which aired on November 10, 1987. Punky and Cherie’s friendship hits a snag when puberty or for the (G-Rated Crowd) the love bug hits Cherie with an unstoppable force. Can their friendship survive? Well, judging by the pic in the lower right half I’d say the boy known as Donald Sotta couldn’t break up this awesome duo for anything or maybe Cherie decided to drop him after he became clingy, especially when it came to her cooking abilities. With the completion of the Season 2 Finale of Punky Brewster S2E22: Accidents Happen which aired on March 9, 1986. Punky's dream is to become an astronaut when she grows up. When she sees the explosion of the Challenger Space Shuttle on TV, she is devastated. I learned so much recording this episode regarding the space program and I even had someone close to me talk about their experience when they saw the Challenger Explosion in January of 1986. Happy Holiday Punky Peeps, Here's the final Christmas episode of Punky Brewster S4E7 Christmas Hero which aired on May 5, 1988. In this episode during the Christmas season, Punky finds a briefcase full of stolen money. I went sorta off the cuff on this episode and just watched the episode as I delivered my commentary. I comment on the desire for the return of the soft drink Diet Dr. Pepper Cherry Chocolate as a annual holiday treat, the fact that the boy who plays Jerry doesn't have the best line delivery and list other works on this actor's IMDB page, Punky's awesome wardrobe, her attempt at getting donations while working at Punky's Place along with it's cool look,Cherie's metabolism to eat all those cookies and Brandon wrapped in that blanket (I even posted a picture on Instagram)plus I said some other stuff too.
