Tolerance to Cannabis is one of the most misunderstood aspects of the stoner lifestyle. When the occasional asshole asks me, "how can you possibly parent when you're stoned all day?!" I can barely contain my eye roll. Non-stoners just don't get tolerance or the concept that a regular cannabis user is substantially less affected by weed than the recreational user. It's a pet peeve of mine, people assuming that cannabis affects everyone, in the same way, so in today's episode we are educating ya'll on tolerance- the magical concept that allows stoners to be happily medicated and high-functioning.  What is Cannabis Tolerance? Tolerance refers to how much cannabis affects a user. Over time regular cannabis users can develop diminished effects with increased amounts of consumption. So, adding more use to your routine can increase the amount of cannabis needed to get the same effects. For something called "weed", cannabis sure has developed quite a reputation for being the delicate princess plant of master botanists. Marijuana enthusiasts have no trouble talking about the minutia of growing, but what about the black-thumbed rest of us? What if you don't actually care about hydro and nutrients, and vegetation cycles? The Stoner Mom is good at nurturing children and pets. Plants, not so much. Yeah yeah, we know we are totally late with this one.
