Who is to blame for the Fall of humanity? What was the first sin motivated by? I’ve been dealing with a lifetime of lust. Where am I with God? I have a religious OCD and am burdened with disturbing thoughts. Could it be demons? Either way, what do I do?

Too Good to Be True… or So Good It Has to Be God? Discussion Questions: So I can’t lose my salvation? What about people who walk away? If I’m totally forgiven, does repentance not matter? Are you saying God’s discipline has nothing to do with punishment? Does being “led by the Spirit” mean we should wait for a feeling? Should every believer speak in tongues? Is it a sign of salvation or maturity? If we’re under the New Covenant, why even read the Old Testament? Why would the New Testament give so many instructions if it’s not about rules? Is this new covenant focus on God’s grace just a “feel-good theology”?

Is the Israel of today the same as the Israel in the Old Testament? Why does Jesus say you can’t pour new wine in old wineskins? Are we in the end times? I’ve heard people say, “My behavior doesn’t matter, because I’m saved no matter what!” What do you think about that?

What is grieving or quenching the Spirit? Does it mean God is angry with us? How can I get back to when I used to trust God? I escaped legalism 15 years ago, but I still find myself double-minded in some ways, and I wonder what to do. What can you suggest?

How can Satan tempt so many people if he is not omnipresent? Why do we pray in Jesus’s name? I think I need to be honest with my daughters about some things in my life. What should I do? What is a false prophet? Might I be one? I hear secret messages from satellites, and I record them!

The enemy can’t touch me? What about temptation and accusation? What about when others harm me? Would you share the gospel with my 93-year-old grandfather? Why did Jesus say, “man does not live by bread alone”? Why did He refer to Himself as water and bread on different occasions?

Can you fall from grace and lose your salvation? What about all of the imperatives in the New Testament? What does it mean to pray in the Spirit?

Is our experience with the Holy Spirit different from believers in the Old Testament? How were they saved? What does God think about women leaders in the church? I know we are free from the Law for salvation, but what about for daily living? What does it mean to have springs of living water flowing out of us? My boyfriend says he cannot marry me because it would be adultery!

Is Grace Too Good to Be True? Discussion Questions: If God’s so close, why do we sometimes feel far from Him? Do we have one or two spiritual natures? Why is this important? React to this statement: The Sermon on the Mount amplifies the Law. Does our freedom from Law include the Ten Commandments? What about godliness? React to this statement: We don’t need crowns and rewards as motivation. If God isn’t keeping score, why care about our attitudes and actions? React to this statement: You can’t lose your salvation, no matter what. React to this statement: God’s discipline is training for the future, not punishment for the past.

Does Hebrews 6 warn about loss of salvation? My pastor threatened me if I didn’t tithe. He said I might lose my salvation! Did Judas go to Hell?

What is your take on the IRS clarification about pastors being able to endorse candidates? What is the remedy for depression? And what about suicide? Are there levels of heaven? Mansions? Rewards? Crowns? Did Judas Iscariot really have any choice in the matter of betraying Jesus?
