Did God predetermine who would believe and be saved? Discussion Questions: Why does Paul keep mentioning Jews and Gentiles with the theme of predestination? Read Romans 10:6-9. Why shouldn’t we try to predict who is saved and who isn’t? How does verse 10 demonstrate our role in salvation? Read verse 11. What can we expect from the gospel? Does the “seed of the woman” in Genesis 3 relate to Revelation 12? What do you think about the ground shaking and Old Testament believers rising from the graves? What do you think about mental health issues like depression and anxiety? Are they physical, or spiritual, or potentially both? My church had me sign a covenant contract with them, and now I feel guilty when I break it! What can I do?

Is the comfort mentioned in Isaiah 40 seen fulfilled by Romans 5? Is the whole world forgiven of their sins? Or are only believers forgiven? I don’t think churches preach enough about judgment today! Why is the message of grace not received with more widespread enthusiasm?
