    Our adventurers are locked in a struggle with some oversized pests inside and outside of Max's cottage/workshop, but are able to (eventually) prevail. After a short rest, they speed away following some wagon tracks through the Ogrefist Hills where they all find burial cairns raided of their contents. Shortly thereafter, they find an even more gruesome discovery and it becomes obvious that the rescued gypsy's reading is coming horribly true, tarot card by tarot card. They eventually stumble onto an encampment where something sinister is taking place. Can the heroes intervene and stop a mysterious man from carrying out a necromantic plot?     The party, brushing off their encounter with a ravenous half-parrot, half-stag on the King's Road, makes it to Winterhaven and bids farewell to the gypsys they rescued in the process. Upon arriving at the cottage described by Max, it's immediately obvious to the party members that he failed to mention a few details; specifically the 40-foot tall tower built on to the back of it. Making matters worse, someone has apparently beaten them to the cottage as evidenced by a massive hole blown out of the tower's back wall. Inside, they find what appears to be Max's private workshop and there are things missing, a massive forge for one. With no bellows in sight, the heroes decide to head out and track down the tower's thief but... nature has other plans for our adventurers. There is big trouble brewing in our latest episode of The Misadventures of Max's Minions!

  • MoMM 1.1 - The Second Episode

    After their first (unrecorded) adventure to retrieve a magical lantern from a treant in the Witchlight Fens, the party has managed to recover and is now exploring Fallcrest while awaiting Max's next set of orders. While doing so, the adventurers have managed to attract the attention of some of the town's more unsavory citizens; a decrepit beggar and trio of Tieflings to name a few. Fortunately, the team manages not to end up in the stocks. Well... MOST of the team manages not to end up in the stocks anyway. Luckily though, Max finally summons them with instructions to retrieve their next artifact: some magical bellows from a small cottage south of Winterhaven. So, our heroes head out northwest, along the King's Road. What will they cross paths with as they make their way through the Gardbury Downs?
