The Snow Globes

We squeeze an upright bass and some guitars into our studios and they play a couple songs for us live on the air. We talk about their FREE concert on Thursday night at Village Presbyterian Church. We also talk about The Wash Project, the amazing charity that The Snow Globes support with their music, live shows and CD purchases. After that we turn things up a bit and play some new music from SUCH LUCK- from an EP that comes out in Spring 2019. We play a new one from Radkey- you can catch them at recordBar on December 21. We also hear one from Hipshot Killer who are one of seven bands playing the 4th annual How The Punks Stole Xmas Toy Drive for Hope House on Friday, December 7 at Revolution Records Kansas City. Outer Reaches Fest
24/10/2018 Duración: 01h01minWe turn our attention to a 2-day fest happening in KC this weekend at recordBar called Outer Reaches. The fest showcases the ‘out there’, left-of-center, under-the-radar artists experimenting within and pushing boundaries in their respective genre. The fest features nearly 20 acts, some from right here in KC and some from as far away as Australia. Joining us on the show will be two of the fest organizers, Brenton Cook of Haymaker Records and Steve Tulipana of several music projects and co-owner of recordBar. We hear music from Sound of Ceres, Mysterious Clouds, Lava Dreams, Death Bells, Abandoned Bells and J Fernandez, all are playing the fest. After that, ICYMI, election day is coming up on Tuesday, November 6. We play a brand new song by Bob & Una Walkenhorst about that (it’s so good) and you can catch Una Walkenhorst at Bier Station on November 7 and then a song from Amy Farrand and The Like who are playing a fundraiser show for Sharice Davids this Thursday at recordBar.
