We hear brand new music from young musicians: Jo Music, Miki P, Gracie Schramm and Maddi. We also hear from some of our favorites including Mess, Payge Turner and Rachel Mallin. Also, a brand new one from Vigil and Thieves, who are playing this weekend at the 7th Annual Lawrence Field Day Fest. Plus, music from KCK native Janelle Monae, who was recently announced as headliner of Open Spaces in October at Starlight. Then we jump into the vault for an old one from Kianna of Yes You Are from her previous project, Tilly and the Wall. “Turning The Tables KC” wraps up with a concert on July 25 at Mills Records with music from Katy Guillen and Hi-Lux and with a conversation by a panel of musicians as well.

Record Store Day and Restring for Rehab

The Royals Show
04/04/2018 Duración: 59minIt's all about Kansas City Royals!!! We play music from bands playing pre-game concerts this season, as part of Ink Magazine's Student Night at The K. The first Wednesday concert is next week and features Hermon Mehari, visiting KC all the way from Paris, he'll play at noon before The Royals take the field at 1:15 against the Seattle Mariners. We hear from as many of the bands that we can squeeze in during the hour: Katy Guillen and The Girls, American Slim, Instant Karma, Hembree, The Grisly Hand, Hi-Lux, Run With It, Grand Marquis, Jessica Paige and Yes You Are (and also a special little intro song from Sam Billen). There are 12 pre-game concerts this season, it'd be great to see you out there! You can grab $10 tickets with a valid student ID online or at the gates and there's an $8 happy hour special for a beer and hot dog at the concessions by the stage.
