The second message 1 John focuses on Jesus as the light that overcomes the darkness. In this message we will see how Jesus has come to destroy the work of the devil by bringing the light of His love to the world.

We are starting a new series looking at some of the shorter books in the New Testament this month. 1 John talks about Jesus as love and light. In this message we see how to embrace and share the love of Jesus to a world in great need.

The final week of Jesus’ life sees the religious leaders questioning his authority and trying to catch him in traps that will turn the people against him. Jesus speaks a parable against the religious leaders that challenges us still today to see what our lives are built on. Have you answered the question of authority where Jesus is concerned in your life?

Jesus begins his journey to Jerusalem with a stunning reminder of what is awaiting him there- which leaves the disciples arguing about their places of greatness in his kingdom. What makes you great in the Kingdom of God? The answer may surprise you!

Jesus takes the disciples to Caesarea Philippi in order to ask them life’s greatest question and it’s the question every person alive has to answer for themselves.

As we continue studying the book of Mark we find Jesus faced with a challenge about what is Lawful on the Sabbath. He turns the challenge into an opportunity to challenge our views about good and evil.

We are beginning a study through the gospel of Mark and in the first message we discover how Jesus calls us to do something simple at first: follow Him. In following Jesus we want people to move from curiosity to fulfillment.

The resurrection of Jesus shows us the power of grace can be extended to the worst of offenders. This message looks at how Jesus dealt with Peter in the wake of Peter’s denials. When Peter ran from a relationship with Jesus because of guilt and shame, Jesus worked miracles to restore the relationship. He can do the same in your life!

The only thing that seems to be spreading faster than COVID-19 is fear and anxiety! However, we serve the God of comfort and in today’s message we will see how the comfort He brings us is designed to help us comfort others.

Our world is changing rapidly as the COVID-19 Virus brings fear and panic. What should the Christian response be? This message brings to light how we should see and respond to the world- our neighbors- in the face of major challenges.

In this message we follow the bride and groom to their honeymoon on the wedding night. This chapter provides a beautiful picture of God’s grace to us in the gift of sexual intimacy.

In chapter 3 of Song of Solomon we see two snapshots as this couple’s relationship moves toward the wedding day. First, we see the fears of the Shulammite woman addressed in a dream. What will she do if the relationship doesn’t work well once married? Second, we see the steps Solomon went through to meet each need of his Bride on their wedding day. The day of the wedding is a day to rejoice, not fear!

In Chapter 2 of The Song of Solomon we see a deepening love between Solomon and the Shulammite Woman that brings them to a point of exclusivity. We also see how the couple deals with common issues that can cause big problems in relationships.

The Song of Solomon is a book that helps us understand God’s views on love, marriage and sex. In the first message of the series we see a snapshot of the attraction and dating relationship between a man and woman- and discover God’s blessing of physical, emotional and spiritual love between a husband and wife.

This is week two of the message “Guiding Kids to Spiritual Maturity.”

Christian parents should have a desire to see their children love and follow Jesus. A spiritual parent has their child’s spiritual well-being as their highest priority. Today’s message focuses on how to guide your kids toward spiritual maturity using the natural rhythms of life God appointed for spiritual growth.

Every relationship we have can be an opportunity for God to shape our spiritual maturity. Learning to submit to God and others is key in growing to be like Jesus.
