After the trial of lost audio we experienced last week - we're now back in full swing and ready to tell this story!! Buckle up, because this week Sarah is telling us all about The Duggar family. That's right - the reality TV family from 19 Kids & Counting. Originally made famous for their practice in the Quivverfull movement and strict evangelical teachings, the Duggars are making headlines again (but not for good reasons). Tune in as Sarah pulls out the skeletons from the Duggars closet and talks about how incredibly problematic their beliefs and teachings are.

You read it right - it's TWO ghost storiez this week!!! Stephanie starts the spooks off with a Celebrity Ghost story from Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian himself!!). While the story is short the spooks are large. Sarah finishes with the tale of Fort Warren in Boston, Mass. Haunted by your usual U.S. Civil war ghost-suspects, this fort is also home to the Lady In Black. A courageous young woman who would do whatever it took to save her husband, and some say she's still trying to save him to this day. While this episode is shorter than the previous, we can promise it will fill your spine with tingles and hopefully induce a few giggles as well.

This week is a tale of ghosts and murdering duos, and like most episodes this year: it's WILD! Sarah starts us off with a Philly ghost story. But not just any ghost story, because this one's ON-A-BOAT *lonely island tune plays in background*. The "Moshulu" is the worlds oldest, still floating, 4 masted sailing ship and she currently resides in the bay at Penns Landing, Philadelphia. Now an upscale restaurant and club; the Moshulu has a long and varied history = with means it's full of ghosts!!! Stephanie rounds out the episode with the polarizing true crime tale of the Menendez brothers. We know they killed their parents - that was never a question. Buckle Up - Strap In - And GET READY! This is a long, winding, and bumpy ride. This week Sarah is deep diving into a current and still unfolding true crime story (and when we say deep diving we mean it - this might be one of our longest episodes ya'll) On Nov. 27th 2019 Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow were officially declared missing and their mother, Lori Vallow, was a person of interest. That's right, we're tackling the story of Lori Vallow & Chad Daybell - and the trail of death that follows them. Lori and Chad are each currently in prison awaiting their respective pre-trial motions and eventual jury trials. As of today neither have been charged with murder; but we here at Deadtime Storiez hope that Tylee and JJ get justice and Lori Vallow spends the rest of her days behind bars. #justicefortyleeandJJ

We're BAACCKK!! And this episode is full of banter, shenanigans, and ... worm tornados?? Buckle up as we fill you in on what's been going on in our week off, tips on how to dress for the job you want, and opinions on who we would cast in the live-action remake of "Evil Genius". (If you haven't watched Evil Genius on Netflix - go do it, right now) Sarah's bringing us a listener story this week that comes to us all the way from Scotland!! It's true crime AND ghosts - a double whammy! Stephanie wraps up with 4 short weird-world tales. A story of the smoking-gun sausage, why we should thank Idina Menzel for helping solve the Dyatlov pass, a typical FloridaMan, and a worm tornado! This episode is all over the place, and we hope you enjoy!!

It's Double The Guests and Double the Fun for the 2nd week in a row!! We're very excited to welcome back Esther and Vinay to the show - and this week Vinay is bringing us the spooky content (or should we say, out-of-this-world content??) Vinay's tale is about folk singer Jim "Sully" Sullivan. On a trip to Nashville to start a new home base for his family Jim "Sully" went missing. Last eyewitness to see Jim watched him walk away from his car and into the desert. Was this a sad man who just walked away to die...or....was it ALIENS!!??? Like the title says, this week it's all about Philly storiez! (And we didn't even plan that!!) **CONTENT WARNING** Sarah starts us out with a story that is gross, disturbing, and absurd - it's the true crime tale of Philly's most notorious pervert: Ed Savitz aka Uncle Eddie aka Fast Eddie. Ed Savitz solicited young boys for goods (? we'll go with that) and sexual favors. He was known around the neighborhood for paying large amounts for these things, and he operated (?sure, we'll go with that phrase too) for almost 20 years before finally being caught. Stephanie wraps up the episode with another true crime case located right in Philadelphia, in the Manayunk neighborhood. However this case is still active and potentially re-opening. Ellen Greenberg was found unresponsive one evening in the apartment she shared with her fiance. And when we say 'found unresponsive' - she was found with a knife in her chest...but minimal, to almost no blood splatter or mess. The police ruled it a suicide, but the family disagrees

It's been a week since ya'll heard us last - but for us it's only been 24 hours. And what a 24 hours it's been! Like most places in the U.S.A right now, we're covered in snow/ice/just plain cold weather. So, Sarah was inspired by the icy tundra that is currently Philadelphia to tell the story of the Schoolhouse Blizzard of 1888. Also known as the Children's Blizzard of 1888; the entire midwest US was taken by surprise when an beautiful sunny day in January turned into a raging nightmare within a matter of hours. *WARNING: Child Death* Thankfully Stephanie's story is less icy cold, and she tells the tale of Carlina White. Sarah cleanses the palate a bit with the story of the Persian Princess. A mummy found selling on the black market for $11 million holds more secrets than any one could have imagined. Stephanie's story this week tells us all about children who have exhibited signs of reincarnation. I've always wanted to live right on the beach: maybe I at least did it in a past life? It might be February, but Sarah is sticking with her ghost-storiez-ONLY theme! This week is all about Thornhaven Manor in New Castle, Indiana. Once a family estate, this now paranormal hotspot is brimming with ghostly activity. Disembodied screams, footsteps, cold spots, EVPs, and some great thermal imaging captures will ensure that any visit to Thornhaven Manor will be an experience.

This year is starting off strong ya'll and so are our storiez! Last week Stephanie told us the insane story of the Hicks Babies and teased that this week's story would be linked....but we had NO IDEA what we were in store for. This week's tale is all about Melinda Dawson (a Hicks Baby - you might recognize her from her episode of Maury), a murder, and some clever DNA gathering. Sarah wraps up the episode with......you guessed it! Another ghost story!! Unintentionally also located in Montana, The Dumas Brothel is not only the longest running brothel in America, it's also haunted AF. Two floors of spooks accompanied by an entire basement of underground tunnels, it would almost be a shame if it didn't have some ghosts. As always - we LOVE to hear from YOU!! Can you believe we're already at 140 episodes?!? Man time flies when you're in a pandemic. But that's scary enough - let's get to this weeks storiez. Sarah starts us off with another ghost story!! (You might have noticed a theme here - and it's: Sarah's going to do ghost storiez until she gets bored with them and needs something different) This week it's all about the Hotel Metlen in Dillon, Montana. A hotel that's had someone die in almost every room is basically required to have some ghosts. And the Hotel Metlen does NOT disappoint. Stephanie wraps things up with the incredibly unsettling, and sad, story of The Hicks Babies. Who was Dr. Hicks and why was he selling babies out of the back door of his clinic? We may never know his exact motives, but some of the victims can find answers. This story is fascinating and disturbing all at the same time. You're Welcome?

Not much banter this week, because these stories are just too good. Sarah eases us into the episode with the story of the haunted Hellfire Caves in Wycombe, England. A man-made cave system that was dug to house the Hellfire Club, these caves hosted some wild and crazy parties and apparently now hosts some ghosts!! Stephanie then hits us real hard with the story of the disappearance, and murder, of Skylar Neese. On the outside they were a trio of besties, but on the inside more devious plots were being hatched. The moral of this tale is the teenage girls are the fucking worst.

Hey Dookie-Buttz!! New Year - Same Show here! But this year we have some big goals, and want some input from ya'll -- what new content would you like?? To start the year off, Stephanie has a weird world story for us: Marla Olmstead. A four year old whose love of painting catapulted them into sudden fame. Was she a prodigy, or just a little girl bonding with her dad -- you decide. To wrap things up, Sarah is taking us back to our roots with a good ol' Pennsylvania ghost story! It's the tale of the Hill View Manor in New Castle, PA. Any kind of ghost activity you could possibly want: they have it! Friendly ghosts, kid ghosts, EVPs, phantom footsteps - this place has it all!! ** Plus - it just might be the location of a very big Deadtime Storiez episode ** We are excited to start another year with ya'll and can't wait to see what 2021 holds.
