Arthur’s Answers – What did Arthur Smith say to the Steelers media earlier today? Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray isn’t sure we see a lot of Jabrill Peppers on Sunday since he will only be with the team for a few days. Ray said there is not a ton of panic inside the building about Broderick Jones through the first game of 2025, but Ray has his own concerns. Ray had his own way of demonstrating how bad the Steelers defense has been against the run over the last few years. The guys asked Ray about the offensive breakdown and how much we see of the 3 tight ends on Sunday. How much faith do the Steelers have in Roman Wilson? The issue is that he acted as if that game was a one-off and not a regular occurrence, which is what it is turning into. They have given up roughly 27 points per game in their last 9 games – a number that would rank 30th in the league based on last year’s numbers. The Steelers had a strong defensive mind like Brian Flores in their building a few years ago, but they kept Austin over him. How was a Mike Tomlin defense not ready for Fields? The incentives have been released for Cam Heyward and his new contract, and they do not look very good for Cam. What was going on with the defense on Sunday and how can it be fixed? Roman Wilson barely played on Sunday and Jeff isn’t confident those snap counts will go up on Sunday. Jeff gave credit to Broderick Jones for facing the critics today. Jeff picked the Steelers to beat the Seahawks with Jonnu Smith being the game’s MVP.
