  • Grace Upon Grace

    28/07/2025 Duración: 38min

In this message, "Grace Upon Grace," Pastor David challenges us to truly grasp the profound question: "How far is too far for God's grace?". While we may intellectually know the answer, David explores our struggle to believe that nowhere is too far and nothing is too much for God's grace. This struggle is illustrated through challenging examples like a serial rapist, and Adolf Hitler. The message powerfully recounts the remarkable story of Saul's radical transformation into Paul, a persecutor of the early church who became a foundational figure in faith, demonstrating God's boundless mercy. It declares that your story and your failures are never greater than God's victory, and His grace is sufficient not only for forgiveness but to empower you to live out your divine purpose without fear. You are encouraged to say "yes" to Jesus and consider baptism as a public declaration of your faith. The message concludes by emphasizing that God wants everyone to come to a

  • True Power for Lasting Hope

    22/07/2025 Duración: 39min

Are you hungry for real power – something that can truly transform your life and overcome the chaos, hardship, and brokenness we all face? Join us as we explore the deep human longing for heroes and a force that can conquer evil, a desire often seen in the cheering crowds at superhero movies like Avengers. While Hollywood offers thrilling "fairy tales" that stir our hearts for a few hours, special guest Keith Roberson emphasizes that what we truly crave is a power that is not fake, not broken, and does not disappoint. This genuine power is the power of the living God, particularly the same mighty power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead 2,000 years ago after He took on sin, sickness, hurt, and death itself. This resurrection power is here right now and available to you, not a distant historical event but it is alive and lives in you!Sermon from July 20, 2025To watch this sermon or other sermons, subscribe to our YouTube Channel: "Beltway Park Church

  • Special Guest: Toby Slough

    15/07/2025 Duración: 35min

In a world that never stops—where hustle is glorified, busyness is expected, and stillness is often mistaken for laziness—God offers us something radically different: rest. In this powerful message, special guest Toby Slough unpacks the tender and transformative words of Psalm 23, focusing on the line, “He makes me lie down in green pastures.” God, our Good Shepherd, leads us into rest—not just physical rest, but deep soul rest that the world can’t offer. Toby challenges the cultural narrative that says we must always be achieving, performing, and plugged in. Instead, he invites us to receive the divine permission to pause, be still, and reset. Drawing from Matthew 11:28-30, where Jesus says, “Come to me, all who are weary…”, this message reminds us that the pace of grace is slower than the pace of the world—and far more fulfilling. Whether you're exhausted, overwhelmed, or simply stuck between seasons, this message will speak to your soul. It’s time to let go of the old season and step into the new one w

  • Rebuildling Broken Walls

    15/07/2025 Duración: 37min

The story of Nehemiah reminds us of a timeless truth: God has always been in the business of rebuilding what’s been broken. From the divided kingdom of Israel to the destruction and restoration of Jerusalem, Scripture shows us that God's heart is not to punish but to redeem, restore, and strengthen His people. Using the book of Nehemiah as a prophetic picture, Pastor David unpacks how God doesn't just want us “saved”—He wants us strong. He wants to rebuild the broken walls of our souls—our mind, will, and emotions—so we can stand firm against the attacks of the enemy. This message is a call to move beyond spiritual survival and step into strength, healing, and hope. No matter what’s been broken in your life, God is not done with you. He is rebuilding. He is restoring. And He is inviting you into the process. Scripture Highlights: Nehemiah 1, Isaiah 30:15, Romans 15:4, Ephesians 6:10-11, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Psalm 112. Listen now and be reminded: You are God’s temple. He wants you whole—spirit, soul,

  • Ordinary People Doing the Extraordinary

    01/07/2025 Duración: 35min

Are you ready to discover how God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary and eternal things? Following the story of Esther, who was a young Jewish orphan, demonstrates how she courageously saved her people from genocide, illustrating that God works even when unseen and highlighting the importance of building community to surround you. The sermon showcases inspiring examples of "normal" individuals who made immense impacts by simply saying "yes" to God's call: Sir Nicholas Winton, an English stockbroker, saved 664 children from the Nazis; Frank Jenner, a "normal regular guy," consistently shared the gospel, leading an estimated 10,000 people to Jesus; Pete Lynch, a founding elder, significantly impacted Beltway Park Church's expansion and its 90-plus ministry partners worldwide. These are just of few stories of people who rejected the "I am just..." lie and considered what God is calling them to say "yes" to.Sermon from June 29, 2025To watch t

  • God of Promises

    23/06/2025 Duración: 35min

Do you ever struggle to follow through on your commitments, or find it hard to trust that others—including God—will keep their promises? As we continue in our series, Pastor Geoffrey traces God's consistent character through key Old Testament covenants, centering on the Davidic Covenant (2 Samuel 7), where God promised King David an eternal dynasty through his offspring, rather than David building God a temple. This promise, central to Israel's hope, took a thousand years to unfold and looked different than expected. However, Jesus is powerfully presented as the fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant and all God's promises, demonstrating that God's word is eternal and unshaken by human failure. Stressing that the biblical truth "For all the promises of God find their yes in him" (2 Corinthians 1:20) applies to everyone, not just biblical figures. He acknowledges that the journey from promise to answer often "looks different than we imagined or maybe even prayed for" and can &q

  • Creation - Made in His Image

    17/06/2025 Duración: 29min

This week we kicked off a new series entitled "Long Story Short" where we will spend the rest of the summer, taking a 30,000-foot view of the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, highlighting key moments, covenants, and people. Starting at the beginning with "Creation," we dive into Genesis 1, 2, and 3 to explore the foundational truth of how we perceive ourselves, because "how we view ourselves deeply shapes how we live". This means every human being is an "image bearer of God to the world". We have been carefully crafted into His image and His likeness. The enemy's primary tactic of sowing doubt in God's goodness and word is explored, showing how easily we can fall into temptation. The good news is that what sin broke, Jesus fixes. Through Jesus, our broken mirror can be repaired, allowing us to see ourselves as truly "fearfully and wonderfully made"—a truth King David beautifully illustrates in Psalm 139.Sermon from June 15, 2025To watch this s

  • Engaging Culture

    09/06/2025 Duración: 33min

As we conclude our sermon series about taking back our families, we turn our attention to Jesus' call in Matthew 5: "You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world". This is a command for every believer to not hide their faith or blend in, but to engage and influence the culture for Jesus. To be salt means having a genuine faith, radically changed by Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that impacts everything it touches, bringing life, making things better, and healing. This ability comes from the Holy Spirit living inside believers, who is greater than the world's darkness. Engaging culture does not mean accepting culture or becoming consumed by it; like Jesus, we can be in dark places without compromising truth. The world desperately needs the hope and life believers carry. The message calls every listener to take an actionable step this week to be boldly be salt and light.Sermon from June 08, 2025To watch this sermon or other sermons, subscribe to our YouTube Channel: "

  • Navigating Technology

    02/06/2025 Duración: 31min

Navigating technology can feel like a love-hate relationship, offering incredible benefits but also potential for damage and distraction. In this message, we dive into biblical principles and explore how technology is meant to be a servant, not a master, and how the power of Christ allows us to avoid being mastered by anything. This includes reflecting on whether our use of technology looks different from the world and recognizing how easily it can consume our valuable time. The key lies in intentionally examining our lives and using filters, like the principles from Philippians 4, to ensure that our interaction with technology is honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, and excellent. By actively putting technology in its proper place as a tool, we can prevent it from dictating our lives and truly "take back" our time and families.

  • Healthy Hearts

    27/05/2025 Duración: 34min

We all know that what we eat affects our physical health, but have you ever considered how what you feed your heart affects your spiritual, emotional, and relational health? In this message, we look deeper at Proverbs 4:23 and the importance of guarding our hearts, because everything we do flows from them. Just like junk food can lead to a sick body, things like comparison, anxiety, bitterness, and lust can lead to a sick heart. If we want to take back our families and experience the kind of abundant life God intends for us, we have to be intentional about what we allow into our hearts. A healthy heart builds a healthy home, and it starts with receiving a new heart from God, feeding it with truth, and surrounding ourselves with accountability. This message is a practical and powerful challenge to assess what’s really going on inside—and to take a step toward healing and wholeness.Sermon from May 25, 2025

  • Commissioning for Geoffrey Turner

    19/05/2025 Duración: 43min

This special commissioning service marked a significant and sacred moment in the life of Beltway Park Church as Pastor Geoffrey Turner was officially commissioned and anointed by the Elders to step into the role of Lead Pastor. Grounded in the promise of Philippians 1:3–6, it marked the beginning of a new season—anchored in God’s enduring faithfulness and filled with confident hope for all that lies ahead. From the testimony of faithful witnesses to the laying on of hands, the service was filled with heartfelt words, unified prayer, deep gratitude, and great expectation for all the Lord has in store as we move forward together, from glory to glory.Sermon from May 18, 2025To watch this sermon or other sermons, subscribe to our YouTube Channel: "Beltway Park Church"

  • Words

    12/05/2025 Duración: 34min

Speak wisely; people are listening (James 3:2-12). We all have a story of when our words hurt someone else, or of when we have been hurt by the words of someone else. We intuitively know that words are powerful, and yet we often treat them like they’re not. Treating words lightly produces heavy and damaging consequences. Scripture is clear that our tongue and the words we speak – like a rudder on a ship or a bit in a horse’s mouth – have immeasurable weight and impact, especially in our families (James 3:3-4). In our flesh, our words are often a reckless spark that leads to a destructive wildfire. With the Holy Spirit, our words can produce life, joy, peace, and hope. We grow in speaking wisely by examining our hearts, speaking truth in love, being quick to listen (and slow to speak), avoiding extreme language, intentionally encouraging, and choosing to forgive or ask for forgiveness.Sermon from May 11, 2025To watch this sermon or other sermons, subscribe to our YouTube Channel: "Beltway

  • Godly Parenting

    05/05/2025 Duración: 35min

Parents can most help their kids love God by walking the walk and talking the talk (Deuteronomy 6:5-7). The best thing we can do for our kids – for their relationship with God – is to let them see in our lives that we really believe what we say we believe. Our goal should be to love Jesus radically and personally. We ultimately cannot control or produce a love for God in our children; they will choose for themselves. In contrast, one of the worst things we can do is to make our faith simply about going to church. Nothing makes our faith more unappealing to our kids (and others) than to separate our real life and religious life. Another significant thing we can for our kids and their relationship with God is to talk about Him and to create a home environment where they can freely ask faith questions, no matter how challenging they may be. These conversations can become powerful, teachable moments. Unaddressed questions tend to lead to doubt and skepticism in our children; answered questions tend to lead to gro

  • Thriving Marriages

    28/04/2025 Duración: 35min

Thriving marriages fight for purpose, not perfection (Ephesians 5:21-30). Without question, marriage is under attack, and we are often losing the battle because of passivity. The truth is that no one stumbles into a healthy marriage; it requires work and effort. It requires mutual submission to one another, as well as unconditional and sacrificial love (agape love). When our marriages have purpose – when we are fighting for our marriages –they begin to be characterized by submission, forgiveness, fair fighting, and outdoing your spouse.Sermon from April 27, 2025To watch this sermon or other sermons, subscribe to our YouTube Channel: "Beltway Park Church"

  • Start with Prayer

    22/04/2025 Duración: 43min

The foundation for abundance in our families is prayer (Matthew 7:7-8). The resurrection of Jesus – what we celebrate at Easter – is the D-Day for humanity in our war against Satan and sin. As followers of Jesus, we receive victory over sin, death, and hell. But the war is not over; we will not reach V-Day until Jesus returns. In the meantime, we battle, especially for our families. One key weapon in the battle for our families is prayer. Prayer becomes powerful and effective when we are in close relationship with our Heavenly Father, when we choose to follow Him and become fully His. From this place of relationship, we can boldly and persistently approach Him concerning our families (Matthew 7:9-11; 15:22-28). To the one who asks, our Heavenly Father gives what is good and needed. And if we do not know what to ask Him, Jesus gives us a template and springboard, what is often called the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13.Sermon from April 20, 2025To watch this sermon or other sermons, subscribe to our YouTube Ch

  • The Lord of Hosts

    14/04/2025 Duración: 43min

The battle belongs to the LORD of Hosts (1 Samuel 1:10-18; Matthew 28:1-10). We all face battles we cannot finish or win on our own, whether it is in our workplace, relationships, finances, physical or mental health, sin or destructive habits, etc. Thankfully, the heart and nature of God is to fight for us. He is Yahweh Tsabbaoth – the LORD of Hosts, or the LORD of angel armies. This is seen most significantly in Jesus’ victory over death on the cross – the central and paramount event of all history – in His resurrection from the tomb (1 Corinthians 15:56-57). Jesus experienced what we deserved and gives us what only He could give: abundant, eternal victory and life. The LORD of Hosts goes with us and fights for us (Deuteronomy 20:2-4), just as He did for David against Goliath. To embrace God as the Yahweh Tsabbaoth, we must know God, trust Him, and step out in confidence. When we do, we fight from victory and not for victory!Sermon from April 13, 2025To watch this sermon or other sermons, subscribe to our Yo

  • The Lord Who Provides

    07/04/2025 Duración: 37min

God provides every need as we radically follow Him (John 19:28-30). With three words on the cross – it is finished – Jesus makes it clear that God is Yahweh Yireh, the LORD who provides. Jesus on the cross has many parallels to Genesis 22:1-14, where Abraham obeys God and demonstrates great faith in taking steps to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Just as Abrahamtakes his knife and is about to offer Isaac as a sacrifice, God stops him. God sees the radical obedience and faith of Abraham and provides a ram for him to sacrifice instead of Isaac. From this experience, Abraham names that place Yahweh Yireh. Jesus, through the cross, is our ultimate once-for-all sacrifice that God has provided (Hebrews 10:1-18). Through Jesus and the cross, God provides for our physical needs, our need for emotional security and happiness, and our need for significance (Matthew 6:31). Through Jesus, God vanquishes our fears of lack. When we pursue Jesus – His kingdom and His righteousness – God provides all that need (Matthew 6:33).Sermo

  • Fix Your Eyes

    31/03/2025 Duración: 40min

Radical focus on God gives strength for the battles of life (John 16:33). Without question, life can be crushingly hard and unfair. That is why the victory of Jesus on the cross over death, hell, and the grave is so powerful. He has overcome the world and promises us strength to overcome its difficulties. We receive that strength and hope when we look to God as Yahweh Nissi - I AM your Banner. In the Old Testament, banners were for battle. They gave guidance and would show soldiers which direction to proceed. Banners gave hope and encouragement to armies when they could see it advancing. When we fix our eyes on God as our banner, He empowers us to persevere and to overcome discouragement. When we fix our gaze upon Him, He imparts peace. Knowing the supernatural impact of hearts and minds set on God, the enemy works overtime to distract us. That distraction leads to self-reliance, which is often our first step towards destruction. God made us to have a radical focus on Him, to live dependent on Him. On our own

  • The Lord Who Sanctifies

    24/03/2025 Duración: 40min

Death is the way to life (John 19:16-17; Luke 9:23; John 12:24). It is the way to abundance, the way to living out our purpose and being fruitful. We are called to be living sacrifices, to die in some way while we are still physically alive and breathing. The command to God’s people in the Old Testament was to consecrate themselves, to be holy (Leviticus 20:7-8). We are to be holy because God is holy in His character and nature. In fact, holiness is the summary word of God’s reality. The process and journey of becoming holy like God is called sanctification, and it is a work of God in our lives. He is Yahweh M’Kaddesh – the LORD who sanctifies you. We are to die to anything God says is sin in thought or action, and to say yes to anything He says is holy. We are to take up our cross and die daily, with the help of healthy, Biblical community, so that we can become increasingly more like Him.Sermon from March 23, 2025To watch this sermon or other sermons, subscribe to our YouTube Channel: "Beltway

  • The Lord Who Heals

    17/03/2025 Duración: 45min

Jesus came to show us that God is our healer (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17). Through the prophet Isaiah in the Old Testament, the Messiah – who we now know is Jesus – would be a suffering servant. The prophet predicted that His pain would bring healing. Jesus indeed experienced physical pain through scourging, wearing a crown of thorns, and being hit by Roman soldiers. He also experienced emotional pain through repeated mockery. Yet what Jesus endured fulfills prophecy and powerfully transforms our present reality. The God who did still does! God still works miraculously today to bring spiritual, physical, emotional, and relational healing. We can begin to encounter that healing when we run first to the one who heals, when we pray boldly (even in our unbelief), when we lean on the people God provides, and when we trust God as healer (not just the healing). Our faith is not in outcomes, in whether we see healing like we want. Our faith is in God, and the cross proves why He is worthy of our trust.Sermon from Ma
