Jesus raises us from the coffin of our sin to new life in Him  I Have Not Found Such Great Faith  Jesus is in Capernaum A highly valued slave was sick and nearing death  He was the slave of a Roman officer  The officer heard about Jesus, and he sent some Jewish leaders to ask him to come and heal his slave They earnestly begged Jesus to come with them and help the man who felt that he deserved the help bc of his love for the Jews and he built them a synagogue He was uncertain if Jesus was going to grant a Gentile request. Jesus is for everyone  Jesus went with them  Right before they get to the house the officer sends word to Jesus that he should not trouble himself by coming to his house because he feels unworthy for Jesus to enter his house so he said Just say the word from where you are and my servant will be healed  He explains that he is a man under authority and he has authority and he only needs to say Go and his servants go and come and they come do and they do. He was humble  Jesus

The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath  Jesus was going through the grainfields and his disciples began to eat some of the kernels from the grain  God had commanded  the Sabbath to be a time of rest and no work no labor  The Pharisees asked them why they were doing something unlawful on the Sabbath  Jesus answered them with Word about David and his companions eating the consecrated bread which was unlawful b/c it was only for the priest  He then tells them The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath ( he wass affirming his deity he was the Lord who created the Sabbaath and had the authority to make exceptioon  On another Sabbath, he was teaching in the synagogue and a man whose right hand was shriveled  The Pharisees were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus so they watched him closely to see if he would heal on the Sabbath  Jesus knew what they were thinking    Get Up and Stand in Front of Everyone  Jesus tells the man with the shriveled hand to Get Up and stand in front of everyone So he gets

Your Foundation Determines Your Future    Luke 5    Don’t be afraid; from now on you will catch men  Jesus is teaching the Word of God and the people are listening  Simon Peter had left his boat and was washing his nets  Jesus gets in Simon’s boat and asks Simon to push it out and little from the shore and he continues to teach from the boat  After teaching, He told Simon to Put out into the deep water and let down the nets for a catch.  We cant pick up what we are not willing to down  Simon objects stating that they had worked all night and haven’t caught anything BUT IF YOU SAY SO, I WILL LET DOWN THE NETS Obedience produces blessings. He blesses us so we can bless others  They caught so much that their nets began to break and they had to call for help  They filled two boats and they were so full they began to break  When this happened Simon Peter fell to his knees and told Jesus to get away because he was a sinful man His holiness exposes our sinfulness They were astonished. He had Jo

Satan tempts us in our strength and not our weaknessess  He then tempts Jesus in these areas: Provisions Turn these stones into bread  Jesus response: People can’t live by bread alone  Possessions  The Devil told him I will give you all these kingdoms and authority over them because they are mine and I can give to whoever I please  Posture If you worship me.... Jesus replied: You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him  Protection The Devil took Jesus to the highest point of the Temple  If you are the Son of God. Jump off  Then the Devil used Scripture  How you going to use the Word with the Word  Jesus replied You must not test the Lord your God   The Digest  The Devil tempts us with our strengths, not our weaknesses. He knew Jesus had power and he wanted Jesus to use his power prematurely. Once he overcomes this temptation he will be ready for the mission field  Jesus was tempted and temptation is part of the human experience so he like us was tempted and didn't sin.  The Devil will misinter

  • Red Letter Day 6 Luke 3:1-38

    19/02/2024 Duración: 15min

Are you prepared for the coming of the Lord? The Bite: Luke 3:1-38 The Digest: God speaks to us in the wilderness  God prepares us in the wilderness God uses us after the wilderness  Baptism is after salvation. It's your first testimony showing others that you have repented and turned to the Lord Matt 3:6 when they confessed their sin he baptized them  Baptism is not some holy water. It is the symbolism of you dying to your own life and being raised to a new life with Christ. Have you followed the Lord in believers' baptism? Are you prepared for the Lord’s second coming?  Clear the road for him? What things do you need to clear out of your life? Are you expecting the Messiah? Repentance and fruit are necessary in your life with Christ. Check your heart attitude and posture. What does the fruit you have revealed about you? Are you part of the chaff or the wheat? Calling out sin is an offense to the unbeliever. They jump right to “you judging me” so don't be surprised when that happens.

The Bite: Luke 2:1-20 The Savior was born She gave birth while they were there and she wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger bc there was no room  The Savior is for ALL people The shepherds were keeping watch over their flocks and the angels brought them good news of great joy for ALL people The Savior is accessible You will find a baby wrapped in clothes  The Savior gives peace to those who are submitted to him Then a great company of angels praised God saying Glory to God and peace on earthy to the people he favors  and returned to heaven. This was not a universal peace  The Savior is to be sought out and shared The shepherds then sought out to go see this thing that had happened which the  Lord told them about        The Digest We must realize that the good news is for all people. Even when it is not received with joy like it is here. It is available and accessible. Peace is what belongs to those who make people with God through Christ  Once you have Jesus, you are to share him.

  • Red Letters Day 2 Luke 1:39-80

    15/02/2024 Duración: 08min

We must look at our wilderness experiences as opportunities for growth in Christ   The Bite: Luke 1:39-80   The Digest  We see that what the angel told Zechariah and in his doubt came to pass just as the angel said.  We see that John’s life was necessary to be the forerunner of Jesus.  He was setting the stage for the Savior telling people they needed to repent and we should do the same thing.  We need to be warning people of the coming of Jesus by repentance of sins and salvation so that when he comes this time they will be with Him.  We also see that before God uses John he takes him in the wilderness to grow him and prepare him for ministry.  Where have you seen your doubt turn into a later promise of God? How has doubt caused delays in your growth? Have you ever experienced an wilderness season that set you up for more growth? The Chew  God fulfilled his promises even when there was doubt. We must repent of our doubt and trust. Help my unbelief, Lord

“Sometimes when God answers a long-awaited prayer request it easy to be fearful even when you had faith.” -GB   The Bite: Luke 1:1-38   The Digest:  What can we learn from this passage? God has a plan for each of our lives. God hears the prayers of those who are his and in right standing with him.  God’s timing is not our timing. Then when it happens it will be on his timetable  God uses humble people. Mary was a humble and willing vessel to let go use her to save us.  We must be humble and willing vessels to make kingdom movements  Jesus was born just like us fully human but fully God  We shouldn't doubt God like Zechariah  Nothing is impossible for God  Where do you need to surrender doubt? What prayers are you still waiting for God to answer? The Chew:  To be used by God you must be humble obedient and not afraid    To support this ministry www.buymeacoffee.com/gloribites To shop our prayer journals  www.linktree.com/gloribites

  • Jesus Saves Us- My Response to the SuperBowl Ad

    14/02/2024 Duración: 13min

You may have seen the ad during the Super Bowl of the Jesus Get Us  I wanted to take a look at the context of the Scripture with You.    The ad seems to protray the idea the we are supposed to wash the feet of our neighbor regardless of their race, faith, or lifestyle.   While we are called to love our neighbor. We don’t love their sinful lifestyle that is contratry to the True gospel of repentance and salvation.    We are called to use the Scriptures to teach rebuke   All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. 2 Tim 4:2   When Jesus met people who were stuck in sin. He forgives them. And he told them to go and sin no more not just He gets us in our sin. He meet us in our sin. He forgives the sin that we confess to him We see that sin as he see it.    We don't just wash the feet and

Tent get tragedy worn down blow away by circumstance  We have a body made by God and now our parents.  This body gets weary and worn down and we long for a change We will put on heavenly bodies and we will not be spirits without bodies  This earthly body groans and sighs  We desire new bodies  God has prepared us for this and secured with the Holy Spirit  The spirit is a down payment  Almost Home  We can be confident that although not home yet we will one day be home with the Lord.  Believe not seeing  No matter whether we are here in this body or away from this body the goal is to please God We will stand before Christ and receive what we deserve based on what we did in this earthly body (not for eternal destination but eternal reward) obedience    Heaven comes down for us    The old heav

    31/01/2024 Duración: 10min

1 John 3:11-24   The Message was love from the beginning  We should love another  We shouldn’t be like Cain  Cain belonged to the evil one and did what was evil and he killed his brother because he was doing what was righteous    Cain didn't love Abel. He wanted what Abel had. A right relationship with God with the wrong methods and motives. God wants all of us. Not some half-unacceptable offering and expecting God’s blessings on half-doings.   If you want a relationship with someone who you admire in the faith you have to go and seek God for yourself.  The World Hates You   V 13  Don’t be surprised if the world hates you  Love is the proof  If we love brothers/sisters who believe it proves we have passed from death to life  A person with no love is dead  Anyone who ates another bro/sis is a murderer at heart  Murderer don't have eternal life within them  Real Love Gives  Jesus gave up his life for us  We should give up our lives for our bro/sisters  If someone lives well and sees

Paul teaches us about a Living Hope  Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to  God’s chosen people  living as foreigners God the Father knew  chose you long ago,   his Spirit has made you holy.  As a result:  you have obeyed him   have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. May God give you more and more grace and peace. This is the Trinity: God who chose us  The Spirit who makes us holy  Jesus who cleanses us from our sin  He praises God for the rebirth because of Christ  All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Great mercy that we have been born again, God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. As a result of the Resurrection  we live with great expectation,   we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.   God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. 27/01/2024 Duración: 15min

Romans 12:-1-21   Your Body is a Living Sacrifice    Because of God’s mercy. We are urged to present our bodies as a living sacrifice  Holy, pleasing to the Lord (life that is holy according to the Word  This true worship Do not be conformed to this age  Transformed by renewing our minds  To have discernment of God’s will   Offering your whole self to christ daily     Sacrifice is a choice  We can do a lot of work for God and never give Him our body  They had to bring a living animal sacrifice so for paul to say bring yourself as a living sacrifice  The opposite of transform is to be conformed. He talking about renewing your mind. Because that where the battle is  We allow the Holy spirit to renew,, reeducate and redirect us daily through the Word    Everyone in the Body has a Gift, Use it Well Don’t think more highly of yourself than you should  Think Sensibly  Each person has been distributed a measure of faith  Everybody does not have the same function  We are one body in Christ a

Because Jesus condemned sin We are Free From Condemned No condemnation of those in Christ  The law of the Spirit sets us free from the law of death  The flesh weakened the law  Jesus came in the flesh to be a sin offering to fully meet the righteous requirement  For those who do not live according to the flesh but to the Spirit    Are you free? The Fleshy vs Spiritual Mindset Those who live according to the flesh have the mindset of what the flesh desires Those who live according to the Spirit have their mindset on what the Spirit desires  The mind governed by flesh = death  The mind governed by spirit =life and peace The mind governed by flesh is hostile to God  It does not submit to God’s law nor can it  If your mindset is wrong then your feet are going to go in the wrong direction Which mindset do you have? Like watching TV or social media you can be on two channels or two apps simultaneously. You have to choose  The Spirit vs Fleshy Realm  Those who are in the realm of the flesh

The actions of one person affect many...   There is a comparison in the Scriptures that shows you what Adam's sin vs Christ's righteousness did for us. Today we will look at Romans 5:12-21 Adam Sin brought Death into the world  When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. For the sin of this one man, Adam brought death to many. Adam’s sin brought condemnation  Cause sin to rule over many  Christ's Death Brought Life into the World  Jesus brought the gift of forgiveness to many God’s free leads to righteousness even though we are guilty  The sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to be king over all, but all who will take God’s gift of forgiveness and acquittal are kings of life[d] because of this one man, Jesus Christ. V17 TLB Christ’s righteousness to those who receive it will triumph over sin and death  through Jesus    Adams one sin vs Jesus one act  Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Chr
