The Foundation was laid and it would be completed Zechariah was given a vision that he couldn't understand. So he asked for an explanation. Zerubbabel was a civic leader responsible to finish the work of rebuilding the temple, he needed encouragement. The Walk and Talk with Jesus After the Resurrection

Jesus comes near and starts to walk with them. They are prevented from recognizing him. Jesus inquires about their conversation. They ask Jesus if he did not know what had just happened three days prior. They described to Jesus the crucifixion. They had hoped that the Messiah would be coming because it was the third day, and they hadn't seen him. Jesus stated that they were foolish and slow to believe. He explained that the crucifixion was necessary. They invited Jesus to stay with them. When Jesus became their host, and broke the bread. It was then they recognized Him. But Jesus was gone. Finished -Before Jesus there had to be a priest to atone for the sin. Jesus was the final atonement for all of our sins. The system ended with Jesus. He paid in FULL. The parable of the lost son teaches us that God wants a relationship with us. He wants us to have eternal wealth. . “The younger son told his father, ‘I want my share of your estate now before you die.’ So his father agreed to divide his wealth between his sons.” v.12 We like the son in this parable are wasteful. We are in a time of famine and chaos in our land and it's time to stop starving for attention, money and power, success relationships etc . He got so hungry that pig food looked good. Esther was fit and fine. “Mordecai was the legal guardian of his cousin Hadassah (that is, Esther), because she had no father or mother.
