However, strange visions of exotic prey soon began to cloud the mind of big game hunter Nigel Hassenpfefferer who has now inadvertenly put the party's safety at risk by stumbling into the domain of a massive ape-like creature. What is lurking in wait for our adventures? Will they locate the treasure Sheffield is looking for? Can they get there before the Baroness beats them to the punch? And what will happen should they succeed? The answers to all these questions lie in the final episode of Volume One!

After meeting up at the Old Man's Bar, Walter Sheffield and his team of adventurers were on their way to find the supposed miraculous cure for the dying moneyman deep in the jungles of Siam. However, while packing their chartered plane, the Buxom Belle, the party ran afoul of another group - led by a mysterious German woman and chock full of people from their pasts - preparing for a similar trip. Unforunately, while trying to determine whether he had direct competition, Sheffield let his Southern temper get the better of his Southern hospitality and, now, finds himself in a precarious situation that might end his quest for health with a bullet instead of his disease. The final session of Season One begins! When we last left the group, everyone had barely managed to succeed at and survive the rescue of Aubrey from the clutches of the Mole King. Just two days later, however, it appears ANOTHER member of the party needs saving. Grey LaMontagne has been arrested; charged with the murder of Valeria Magnani after a call from a concerned citizen led Mt. Shasta Police to a secret room with Golddigger's Pawn Shop. Convinced that their friend is being framed, Luca, Monty, Junie, and Aubrey have arrived at Golddigger's eager to search for clues and help clear his name. However, the problem about searching for the unknown is that you always run the risk of finding something that you'd rather not have found. Or... as the case is about to be... sometimes, something you'd rather not locate finds you first instead.

The gang has gone underground to find Aubrey. Aubrey, meanwhile, is just gone... disconnected with reality. Far beneath Mount Shasta, the young pawn shop clerk is being prepared to become betrothed to the Mole King; whether she believes it's happening or not is irrelevant. But the strange scenario developing in the caverns below is just the peak of the mountain. Before the dust from Monty's Dustbuster® settles, Junie will come to a dreadful realization about the weird events of recent weeks and how they're tied to her childhood friend. Worse, she'll make an even more dreadful decision to try and save her. Can Junie and her companions make it to Aubrey in time to speak now, or will something make sure they forever hold their peace? Find out at the penultimate session of Season One draws to a close.
