This week I stepped way out of my comfort zone and sat down with Alison Falk. I feel this was my most difficult interview to date. Not because Alison wasn’t a great guest, because she absolutely was, but because I am close to an idiot when it has to do with anything regarding technology. Alison helps me understand what she does in this crazy tech world that is growing day after day. This week I sit down with one of the sickest boys to ever do it, B White. Brian Whiteman is a rapper from McKeesport who’s made a name for himself over the years. The talent behind B White, Mayo, and the rest of the58s is, and always has been crazy to me. We talk about what his early life was like growing up in Highland Grove and how wrestling was a main focus for B before he broke into the rap game. He talks about going to college on a wrestling scholarship and coming home with a degree in Hustling and a minor in Street Pharmaceuticals. From that point on, B details out his journey through this crazy world of Hip Hop and how him and Mayo started to make some shit happen. Their catalog of work speaks volumes on talent, not to mention working with legends like Mac Miller, Cormega, Raekwon, Big Jerm, and so many more. This week I have a very special episode for yinz. I sat down with Matt Light to talk about all the crazy shit that happened in the last couple weeks. Matt is a hilarious comedian from Pittsburgh who recently competed as the main event in Rough N Rowdy 7 hosted by Barstool Sports. We talk about how Matt prepared to go toe-to-toe with an opponent who was 8 inches taller and 40lbs heavier, having to wear ankle weights to MAKE weight, meeting Shaquille O’Neal, his unfortunate quick stoppage loss, and the WWE type chaos that ensued after the match. This whole episode is so damn good. Matt might have technically lost the match but you can absolutely bet your ass he made a name for himself in doing so. I personally was blown away watching this shit unfold live on PPV, so I couldn’t wait to get him in the chair to hear about it all. You definitely don’t want to miss this one. This week I sat down with Jesse Florentino. Jesse has been doing martial arts for close to 20 years. From being a Florida State Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Champion in highschool, to winning his match at his first KASAI tournament, he has a resume to show for it. Luckily for me, he is also one of my Jiu Jitsu teachers at Stout Training Pittsburgh, and an all around awesome guy. This week, I sat down with the Co-Owner of the legendary One Up Skate Shop, Brandon McConnell. Brandon has been skating since he was 12. If you're around him for more than five minutes you can tell that he loves to talk and he loves skateboarding. Brandon and I talk about what life was like growing up, how he got into skateboarding, what made him decide to start his own skateboard company, how he got introduced to One Up, how he became part owner, and so much more. Growing up I spent a lot of time shopping in skate shops and it was dope to be able to pick the brain of someone that is involved with the best in the city. This week, I had the pleasure of sitting down with 'Big Lonn' Howard or @BigLonn412. I first came across Lonn from following Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa. Lonn is the muscle behind the Taylor Gang. I would see him in YouTube and instagram videos over the years just turning up and having a good time. I didn't know what he was really about until the last couple years. Big Lonn has become obsessed with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu thanks to Stout Training and he has made it known on his popular Instagram account. Mixed in with all the videos of Coyote Man, MMA memes, and the catalog of weed posts, you can see the accolades Big Lonn has accrued over the last couple years of training. This week I sat down with Dan Dobies. Dan has been working at St Augustine Cemetery for 16 years. Every since I watched zombie movies like Night of the Living Dead, I've always been creeped out by cemeteries. This week I sat down with Ricky Dick or known by many as 'Gravely MacCabre' the Head Caretaker at my favorite haunted house in the city, Castle Blood. Castle Blood has been in business for 26 years. The Castle is an interactive, story intensive haunt that allows the guest to participate, and still get the shit scared out of them along the way. From puzzles to riddles to magic, the Castle is full of awesome surprises. Ricky and I talked about everything from how he fell in love with Halloween, how he got started on this interesting path he's carved out for himself, how he continues to make the Castle such a unique experience every year, and so much more. I couldn't have been happier with our conversation. I've been attending annually for as long as I've known about Castle Blood and I've never been disappointed. 40 EPISODES SON!!! THANK YOU FOR COMING BACK! This week I sat down with Macabre Noir of The Weeping Glass to talk about her shop, The Scarehouse, Atrocity Exhibition X, and SO MUCH MORE. The Weeping Glass is an Oddity and Antique shop. I saw the name on the building and checked out their social media to see what kind of things they sold and I was immediately interested. I've driven by it numerous times and haven't been able to check it out until last night before the interview. It is FILLED with so many awesome things from Coffin Nails, Creepy Dolls, Animal Skeletons, Old Medical Kits, Art, Dental Tools and so much more. I just really wanted to know how someone got involved with selling Oddities and cool stuff like that and I learned so much more. When I got to the shop I was pleasantly surprised with our first ever second guest. Lilith DeVille was there preparing for their next big event on October 19th called Atrocity Exhibition X. DeVille has been friends and worked with Macabre for many years and he jum
