The two break down the Panthers 4-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers to sweep the season series, where the game was tied in the middle of the third period, right before the Panthers scored the last two to get the two points behind Anton Lundell's three-point performance (1,2). The Panthers never trailed in the game and had six power play opportunities, including two in the final few minutes where the Oilers were creating a bit of a push after cutting the deficit to one and the Panthers were able to put the game away. The two break down USA's 6-1 win over Finland where the American's broke through after Mike Sullivan decided to put Brady and Matthew Tkachuk on the same line. Finland got the first goal of the game, and played a structured game for the first 40 minutes. USA's power play was a struggle, but 5-on-5 play set the tone early on for them. Brady set the tone with his level of physicality, which made it a more physical game than what fans saw for Canada-Sweden on Wednesday. Sweden struggled in the first 15 minutes of the game where they had a hard time getting their cycle going. Things settled down in the second period as they were able to eliminate Canada's speed, allowing them to cut it to one, and doing so again in the third period to force overtime.
