Innocence through the veil
22/01/2017 Duración: 38minGalatians 5:14. But if you attack one another (unforgiveness, anger, guilt etc.), watch out that you don't destroy one another. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh (Veil). For the desires of the flesh (veil) are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh (veil), for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you would. Going in opposite directions. E.g. why does my shoulder hurt, my ears are swollen, I get headaches and painful ribs? (R). A variety of slightly different choices within the same harmful territory are not correct choices. When the choice is between two totally different territories, one harmful and one powerfully creative there is only one decision. There is no conflict here. There are only two teachers – the Spirit, and the one we make, the Veil (flesh). One guides us into light and life. Matt 18:1…the disciples came to Jesus asking, "Who gets the highest rank in God's kingdom?" For an answer Jesus

Forgiveness and the torn veil
15/01/2017 Duración: 31minUnforgiveness imprisons us in a world outside of Gods compassion and mercy not because he is not giving it to us, but because we do not see it. Only the spiritual mind sees this mercy and forgiveness – our natural mind is blinded to it, because unforgiveness is a world of darkness. It is the greatest enemy to sharing life with God. Unforgiveness and the guilt that comes with it is the underpinning fabric of the veil of separation between us and God and one another. That veil over Adam’s mind and heart, that was Adam’s guilt and shame, separating him from God (and from Eve when he blamed her), was undone by Jesus on the cross. Jesus’ body was torn when he gave up his life for us on the cross. At that same moment the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom. The veil is our inheritance from Adam. The torn veil is our inheritance from Christ. Hebrews 10:19 And so, dear brothers, now we may walk right into the very Holy place, where God is, because of the blood of Jesus. This is the fresh, new, life-giving

Rebuilding hope in God's will
08/01/2017 Duración: 27minZerubbabel was the leader of 50,000 exiles returning from Babylon (A place of bondage), and he surveys the rebuilding of the temple. The Samaritans brought about an order from the Persian government to halt construction. Preoccupation with other personal demands on their lives and pressures that came from facing a time of radical change had drained their energies. Comparisons to stories of the glory of the former temple began to breed discouragement that they could never rebuild it as well, if at all. If we want to be in the perfect will of God where do we start? We start by the small beginning of thanking The Lord that we are in His will. (1Thessalonians 5:18)Å Zechariah 4:10 Do not despise this small beginning, for the eyes of the Lord rejoice to see the work begin. How do we start? God encouraged Zerubbabel to call upon His grace and the power of the Holy Spirit to get the work done. Zech 4:2-10 "What do you see now?" he asked. I answered, "I see a gold lampstand holding seven lamps, and at the top there

Asking God why or when
01/01/2017 Duración: 16minThere are certain questions for which it is hard for the natural mind to get an answer from God. These are; asking God WHEN he is going to do something, or WHY he has not yet done something or WHY he has allowed something to happen - what is the meaning and purpose? The answer we usually get from God is wait – and you will see. God does not mind that the natural mind wants to know these things. But there is one thing that you can know for certain in your spiritual mind – and that is that God IS at work in the situation and that we must never give up trusting him to bring about an understanding of his will and purpose for us no matter what the situation happens to be. He is telling us to live by faith, trusting him totally. God is in command and in charge of every detail to bring about his purpose for us and he is committed to showing us who he is and what he is like, and what he is doing. What God wants us to get is a greater revelation of him in our spiritual mind, not a better explanation from him in our na

Stille Nacht
25/12/2016 Duración: 15minOn Christmas Eve of 1914 in the first year of battle (17 million died in the course of the war) one of the most unusual events in military history took place on the western front. The weather abruptly became cold, freezing the water and slush of the trenches in which the men were bunkered. ‘No man’s land’ was covered in snow that Christmas eve afternoon. On the German side, soldiers began lighting candles. British sentries reported to commanding officers that there appeared to be small lights raised on poles or bayonets - the British held their fire. Even more amazing, British officers saw through binoculars, that some enemy troops were holding Christmas trees over their heads with lighted candles in their branches. The message was clear: The Germans, who celebrated Christmas on the eve of December 25th, were extending holiday greetings to the enemy. Within moments, the British began to hear a few German soldiers singing a Christmas carol. It was soon picked up along the German line as soldiers joined in harm

Logos - The creative word
18/12/2016 Duración: 19minTwo of the four gospels, Mathew and Luke, start with the account of Jesus birth.– Mark starts with the ministry of Jesus. But what about John’s Gospel? He starts way before the birth of Jesus – back to the beginning – the beginning of time itself, when the world was created. His opening statement is: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God.” Then in vs.14 John says: ‘And The Word became Human and lived with us…’ This is the beginning of the Christmas story! Jesus is called ‘The Word - Logos' - The principle of divine reason and creative order. He could have been called ‘The Thought - alogismos’ or ‘The Act - poeisis’, or ‘The Feeling - Pathos’. But these would not have had the same clarity as ‘The Word’. ‘The Thought’ could have left us still wondering what the thought was, just as would ‘The Feeling’. And ‘The Act’ would have made us just mere spectators of some mighty deed. No – It had to be ‘The Word’. The principle of divine reason and creative order. The Word is th

Above all kingdoms
11/12/2016 Duración: 22minABOVE ALL KINGDOMS John 3:27 John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven (- we can try to take) yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before Him.’ He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and his speech is of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all KINGDOMS! Hebrews 12:25 So don't turn a deaf ear to Him who speaks these gracious words. If those who ignored earthly warnings didn't get away with it, what will happen to us if we turn our backs on heavenly warnings? His voice that time shook the earth to its foundations; this time—he's told us this quite plainly—he'll also rock the heavens: "One last shaking, from top to bottom, stem to stern."

Preparing the Way
04/12/2016 Duración: 30minJust as John the Baptist prepared the way for the Christmas story of Jesus’ birth, he also prepared the WAY for the Kingdom life of Jesus to be lived in us. Jesus spoke about John powerfully ‘forcing’ his way into the Kingdom, but Jesus spoke about this as ‘preparing the way’ for himself to finally release the power of his Kingdom life into us. The Old Testament often uses the example of one person being taken away so that another person can take their place. The New Testament is about transforming the one person into a new kind of person. Esau/Jacob, Saul/David, John/Jesus. Matthew 11:11 "Let me tell you what's going on here: No one in history surpasses John the Baptizer; but in the kingdom he came to prepare you for, the lowliest person is ahead of him. For a long time now people have tried to force themselves into God's kingdom. (Message Bible) Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. (NKJ) Matthew 11:12 The days

Cup of blessing
20/11/2016 Duración: 20minAny nation that claims to be a 'Nation under God' will at times have its heart revealed. (Matthew 25:32, Luke 12:48). Psalm 75:8. In Gods hand there is a cup of mixed wine. It is his judgment (crisis of accountability), poured out upon the ungodly of the earth. They must drain that cup to the dregs. The psalms speak of a number of cups in the Lord’s hands – There is a cup of salvation (Psalm 116:13), and a cup of blessing (Psalm 23). But psalm 60 says that before the cup of blessing and salvation there will come another cup. Psalm 60:2 O God, You have cast us off; You have broken us down; You have been displeased; Oh, restore us again! You have made the earth tremble; You have broken it; Heal its breaches, for it is shaking. You have shown Your people hard things; You have made us drink the wine of humiliation and confusion. You have given to those who fear You an unfurled flag, that it may be displayed because of the truth. God’s judgment (crisis of accountability) is for the purpose of redemption, not punis

There is a cup
13/11/2016 Duración: 26minThere is a cup Any nation that claims to be a 'Nation under God' will at times have its heart revealed. (Matthew 25:32, Luke 12:48). Psalm 75:1 How we thank you, Lord! Your mighty miracles give proof that you care. "Yes,"the Lord replies,"and when I am ready, I will deal with the ungodly! Though the earth shakes and all its people live in turmoil, yet its pillars are firm, for I have set them in place!" 4. I warned the proud to cease their arrogance! 5. I told the ungodly to lower their insolent gaze and I said Do not brandish the horn of power, and to cease being so stubborn. 6. For promotion and power come from nowhere on earth, but only from God. 7. He promotes one and deposes another. 8. In Gods hand there is a cup of mixed wine. It is his judgment (crisis of accountability), poured out upon the ungodly of the earth. They must drain that cup to the dregs. 9. But as for me, I shall forever declare the praises of the God of Jacob. 10. "I will cut off the strength of those who do evil," says the Lord," and i

Jesus operating system
06/11/2016 Duración: 25minPaul wrote Romans chapters 7 and 8 to open up to us the mystery and the paradox of faith. We are aware of two things happening at once – our weakness and his strength. God always present and God always active – but not seen. This requires a life of faith. This is the life to which we are now accountable – to fulfill the destiny of the person we were created to be. Hebrews 11:6. Romans 7:10 And the wise rules that were ordained to lead to a life of fulfillment in fact led to a life of misery. 11 For my flawed and defective nature trapped me into reacting to the imposition of those rules and caused the rules to destroy me. 12 But the reality is that the rules are right and appropriate and the regulations are fair and just. 13 Does that mean that something that is good and right was designed to confuse and destroy me? No way! The point is this; My flawed nature, in order to be seen as defective as it really is, has had to be shown up in such a contradiction as this; that the good Commandments

The measure of the stature
09/10/2016 Duración: 38minMEASURE OF THE STATURE God wants to be the best kind of a human being he can be through us (James 4:3). He was able to be the best of all through Jesus and he has ‘begun a good work in us’ (Philippians 1:6) – and he wants to win over our will to his (Philippians 2:13). And he has the power to subdue all things in us to transform us to himself (Philippians 3:21). THREE STAGES OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH. Before our spiritual growth starts God starts by drawing our hearts from trusting in the world into trusting in him (John 12:32,John 16:8). CHILDHOOD – Dependant - not wanting control but wanting comfort safety and security. Matt 18:3– God accepts and blesses. This is the way to enter into the Kingdom of God. It is not the way God wants us to remain (Hebrews 5:13) ADOLESCENCE - Needy and often demanding – God responds to us lovingly but firmly, often having to say no. He meets our needs and teaches (disciples) us into maturity (1John 2:27) where dependence starts to get blended with an active receptivity. The l

Confidence in God's goodness
02/10/2016 Duración: 26minHebrews 6:10. God is fair and just and remembers every detail of the love and care that you have shown to him as a person, through the loving care that you continue to show to one another. 11. We want so much for all of you to keep showing that same loving faithfulness, being full of confidence and hope in the goodness and blessing of God, and to never give up. 12. So that you will be of the same stamp of those pioneers of faith who have gone before you, and whose faith and endurance caused them to inherit the promises of God. 13. When God made promises to Abraham there was no guarantor he could call upon to make good his own promise because he was the greatest of all, so he backed up what he said with all the greatness of who he was. 14. He said ‘Be absolutely assured that I will give to you the best that I have, and totally fulfill you.’ 15. So Abraham was able to endure every adversity in order to receive that promise. 16. In human terms we guarantee something by having someone of prominence confirm us

Dem dry bones
25/09/2016 Duración: 32minTHE DRY BONES - SCATTERED AND IN CAPTIVITY - ARE RE-GATHERED BY GOD’S WORD Ezekiel 37:1 God took a hold of me. God's Spirit took me up and sat me down in the middle of an open plain strewn with bones. He led me around and among them-- a lot of bones! There were bones all over the plain-- dry bones, bleached by the sun. He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "Master God, only you know that." He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones:' Dry bones, hear the word of The Lord! '" God, the Master, told the dry bones, "Watch this: I'm bringing the breath of life to you and you'll come to life. I'll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You'll come alive and you'll realize that I am God!" I prophesied just as I'd been commanded. As I prophesied, there was a sound of a shaking and a rattling! And the bones moved and came together, bone to bone. I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they ha

Faith is easy
19/09/2016 Duración: 30minHow can we know God? We know him by faith. We are unable to mentally understand what God makes known only through revelation (Philippians 4:7 – surpasses understanding). But by faith we receive revelation of His love and power toward us, and we see his works on our behalf. We can speak OF him, not just ABOUT him Hebrews 8:11 We will ALL know Him, from the least to the greatest. HE SHOWS HIMSELF STRONG ON OUR BEHALF 2Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal (salem) to Him. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the reality of your hope and expectation of God's goodness to be at work for your future. It is also the assurance of his work on your behalf, in the world of the unseen WHAT IS DIFFICULT ABOUT FAITH? Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! You will find yourself saying ‘Thy will be done’ a lot. That is not a vacant prayer - It is

Matrix 1
11/09/2016 Duración: 30minRomans 8:22. For we know that all of creation is experiencing the struggle of bringing something to birth together with us up to this very time 23. And not only they, but we too, who experience the initial phases of the transforming work of the Spirit – we too are agonizing deeply within, waiting for the full and final experience of being God’s mature children, which is the absolute transformation of our bodies from mortality to immortality. (Manifestation of the sons of God) MATRIX – A matrix is an environment that provides a system or surrounding substance in which something is brought to birth, grows and develops. (e.g. an egg) g2836. koilia; (“hollow”); a cavity - The matrix; figuratively, the heart, belly, womb. The concept of Matrix can be applied to a cultural, ideological, social, or political environment in which something develops. Each man-made matrix will have a set of constant processes, resources and goals to achieve its final expression. WE ARE ENGAGED IN A SPIRITUAL MATRIX – THE UNIVERSAL M

Path of presence - Breaking free
04/09/2016 Duración: 23minBREAKING FREE Romans 7:18 For now I fully realize that within that dwelling place of my imperfect humanity there is nothing of any lasting virtue at all. My true self intends to act with the purest of motive and intention, but when it comes to living it out, the capacity just isn’t there. 19 For the good that I keep telling myself I am going to do I simply do not do, but the wrong things I have no intention of doing I just keep on allowing to happen. 20 Now if I just keep on doing what my true self admits as being wrong, then it can’t be the real me that’s doing that but some basically inferior disposition that I was born with. 21 So I have discovered a hard and fast predetermined principle, that whenever I decide to do something good, this basically inferior creature demands its equal voting rights. 22 For I feel wonderful in my deepest innermost self about doing good and virtuous things that please God, 23 But then I see another agenda at work in my attitudes that outsmarts the straightforward way I

Path of presence - Transcendent life
28/08/2016 Duración: 34minAGE OF ADAM Humanity was created in the image of God but of a lower order than God (Hebrews 2:7) and with many limitations so it was and is and always will be unable to live AS God. However it can rise to astonishing acts of love and compassion, but sink to atrocious depths of violence, fear and corruption. Built into this being was the capacity to live with a blind notion that God was absent from its life. That is why Adam and Eve thought they could hide from God. So their disobedience and their loss of innocence expressed what humanity was always destined to express in its falling short of the glory of God. After that act of falling short the essential humanity remained the same as always but with a new consciousness of darkness and an obsession with its separated self that could go in any twisted pathway it might choose. And it did. AGE OF ISRAEL God took a nation and blessed it incredibly by giving it wise and purposeful commandments that would offer it the wisdom and insight and encouragement to walk

Path of purpose - Two way test
21/08/2016 Duración: 35minPUT TO THE TEST Numbers 14:21 But truly, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord, none of the men who have seen my glory and my signs that I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and yet have put me to the test these ten times and have not obeyed my voice, shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. And none of those who despised me shall see it. But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it. PURPOSE OF THE TESTING The ‘Ten times’ testing started at the Red Sea and ended two years later at Kadesh Barnea when the ten spies brought a negative report about entering the land. It was after that occasion that the forty years of going round in circles began for a whole generation. That generation never got to where they were going. Deuteronomy 8:2 And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wildern

Pathway of love - Caleb confidence and care
14/08/2016 Duración: 39minGOD ALLOWS A MOSES GENERATION TO SPY OUT THE LAND Numbers 13:28 The only thing is that the people who live there are fierce, their cities are huge and well fortified (Hebron). Worse yet, we even saw descendants of the Nephilim giants (the Anakim giants come from the Nephilim). Alongside them we felt like grasshoppers. And they looked down on us as if we were grasshoppers … Caleb interrupted, called for silence before Moses and said, "Let's go up and take the land-- now. We can do it. GOD ADDRESSES THE MOSES GENERATION Numbers 14:30 Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land, which I swore I would make you dwell in. But your children, whom you said would be victims, I will bring in, and they shall know the land that you have despised. GOD SENDS THE JOSHUA GENERATION INTO THE LAND Joshua 14:6 The people of Judah came to Joshua at Gilgal. Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite spoke: "You'll remember what God said to Moses the man of God concerning you and
